As Experts suggest that you can do diploma program in Civil or in whatever field you are doing Draftsman course. After completing your diploma, if you want to go ahead for further studies, you can opt for lateral entry in B.Tech. whether here are some options for further study.

All India Trade Test

After the completion of ITI course, another option for ITI students is to go for AITT or All India Trade Test. The All India Trade Test is organized by NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training). This test is virtually a skill test which ITI certifies students. After passing AITT, the students are awarded National Business Certificate (NTC) in the related business by the NCVT. NTC diploma in many engineering trades is equal to degree.

Employment opportunities in India

After ITI in India, the best way to start your career is to join the EMS course. Companies providing designing, testing, distribution, providing return / repair service for components and assemblies for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OTs) or Electronics Contract Services (EMS) or Electronics Contract Manufacturing (ECM).
